I had the pleasure of staying here at Medilodge of Portage for rehab. I was a little afraid at first, but things got easier thanks to your Therapy team. Thank you all for your care, and I hope not, but if I had to, I would love to come back to your facility.

My wife, Donna Casper was a resident at TenderCare of Portage for 13 years, I watched things closely after Medilodge took over, and it did not take long to get a good feelings about Medilodge of Portage. It’s very hard to pick a specific member or department that stood out for all the employees are great, Nurses, CNA’s, office, dining Room and maintenance staff and rehab department. When the Time Comes, I plan on coming here as a resident, as I am 83 years old.

I came here in September for some rehab, not knowing what the outcome will be after my stroke. With the help of the Therapy team and staff, I have come a long way in my recovery. I would really like to thank Beth in OT for the extra work that she put in focusing on my bad hand. Also big thank you to Karen and Dontaja for going the extra mile bringing me my coffee before I even had to ask. Keep up with the great work MediLodge staff.

Everyone at MediLodge of Portage has been extremely nice during my stay here. I enjoyed going down to activities and eating my meals in the dining room. Therapy was great as well. They really worked hard in my recovery. I would recommend this center and be happy to come back anytime!

MediLodge was a good facility to stay at during my knee recovery. Scott, the aide, always made sure I was okay. He was very attentive and companionate to my needs. I appreciated that. Therapy did a wonderful job, as well. They were good at listening to the things I couldn’t do and made adjustments when needed. I also want to thank Kelly. She was very helpful when I just needed something. I’d recommend MediLodge of Portage to anyone who may need to come for a rehab stay.

I first came to Medilodge of Portage at the beginning of October 2018. I couldn’t walk, couldn’t talk, and couldn’t eat on my own. I knew it was a long road to get back to being and feeling normal again. Five months later, I have reached my New Year’s Resolution with the help of the Medilodge Therapy team and staff. Today I’m going home, and not to just visit, but to experience my life in full once again. I want to thank everyone for their help and support. I’ll be back to visit as a VISITOR only.

I’ve enjoyed my stay here at MediLodge of Portage. I have no complaints at all. The staff treated me very well and let me go at my own pace, which I really appreciated. I also liked the quick call light responses when I needed assistance. Well, if I had to come back, this would be the place I would come to!
